In skies the storm clouds twist and churn, Where lightning cleaves the earth's embrace, The Valkyries on swift winds turn, With helmed head and battle's grace.

Maiden warriors, Odin's hand, They ride on steeds of midnight black, Through clash of steel, across the land, They choose the fallen, bring them back.

Gleaming wings on shoulders spread, Shields of gold and spears held tight, They watch the clash where heroes bled, And claim the brave in fading light.

Their laughter rings, a chilling sound, As fallen warriors take their flight, To halls of feasting, glory bound, Valhalla's gates, bathed in light.

So sing the tales of battles fought, Where Valkyries choose their prize, In realms of myth, forever sought, Where legends in the north arise.
